Bean count stands at 718
December 3, 2004
Van Nuys, CA Visual Terrain, Inc. is pleased to announce the deceptively large amount of 718 purple and green jellybeans in the “Guess the Amount of Jelly Beans in the Light Bulb” Competition held November 17 th through November 20th in Orlando Florida at the 2004 IAAPA tradeshow.
“ We were overwhelmed with the enthusiastic response to the perplexing question that continued to stump participants throughout the tradeshow. Jellybeans can be quite deceiving. Any bean counter will tell you that the figures tend to bounce around a bit. It’s amazing how your first pass is remarkably lower when you are trying to fit numbers into a small container.” remarked Heidi Hirsch, Office Manager and IAAPA exhibitor.
“While no one actually guessed the correct number, several participants came very close”, announced Lisa Passamonte Green, Partner and Principal Designer of Visual Terrain, Inc, sponsor of the competition. “We are pleased to announce that Steve McIntyre of Anitech, Mario Kamberg of Mario Kamberg Design and Steve Cruz, Director of Marketing, Dixie Stampede received conciliatory gifts for their gallant efforts.
Other participants received a nifty scale ruler considered by many to be the best S.W.A.G. of the show. “We had our best year yet at IAAPA and look forward to IAAPA Atlanta 2005,” concluded Passamonte Green.
