Visual Terrain Joins the World of Competitive Sports

This just in from Van Nuys, California:
The world of competitive bowling was struck by the recent announcement of a new team debuting at the Long Beach GameWorks. The Visual Terrain “PinSpots” came out of nowhere to place second to last in the first annual DLF/IALD Bowling Tournament. The event was a fund raiser for the Lesley Wheel Memorial Scholarship fund.

Participants were bowled over at the “slightly-above-average-depending-where-you-are” bowling team from Visual Terrain. DLF Board member Eileen Thomas was amazed at the exuberant enthusiastic antics of Catherine Hegdale, VT PinSpot. “Cat was placed on the list of exuberants but was pushed out of the running by a very pregnant bowler.” Thomas, when pinned for a more reasonable explanation, shrugged, smiled and stated, “THIS is the world of competitive bowling”, as she walked away.

According to Co-Captain, Dawn “Big D” Hollingsworth, no fashion sense was spared at the selection of VT Bowling shirts. “It strikes me odd that we didn’t win the best dressed award but we were edged out by another firm that used black light paint”, remarked the “Big D”. Upon hearing about the fashion loss, Peter Maradudin, co-captain, casually remarked, “Not to worry, when we get this bowling thing down, we’re movin’ on to badminton.
