Years Worked at VT: It’ll be 15 years in January.
What led you to start working with VTI? Their office manager before me was leaving so I applied for the position and was offered the job before I even got home from the interview.
Favorite Project: Visual Terrain has so many outstanding and award-winning projects that I couldn’t name all of them, but I like projects that pay us on time. To name a few of projects I like – there is the Ashes & Snow project, our Dubai projects, and others.
Tell us your funniest or most memorable memory at Visual Terrain: When one of our staff triggered the alarm and there were a bunch of firemen who showed up in our premises – such a good sight early in the morning.
Memorable moments were those happy hours Fridays where we all met in the warehouse playing games, sipping margaritas and having fun.
What is your favorite part about being a Business Manager? Interacting with the team. I enjoy talking with our team members and supporting them by addressing their
Favorite Aspect of Working for VTI: I am amazed how our designers come up with concepts and ideas on how to light a space, an object or even a stage performance. Before, my idea of lighting is just flicking a light switch. Now I have better understanding on how important lighting is, even properly lighting myself in our virtual meetings.
What or Who Inspires You: My family inspires me.

Many designers have come and gone through the VTI doors. What do you think makes VTI designers unique? Visual Terrain is a very generous company. They support training, continuing education, encouraging membership with design associations, even paying for the dues plus other benefits. As a result, our designers grow to be better in their field, enhancing their talents, their creativeness and progress to be award-winning designers.
