Jameson Distillery Bow St. – Tasting and Tour

Category: Interior
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Designed by: Lisa Passamonte Green, Kate Furst and Leigh Brown of Visual Terrain, with Joost Wijgers of Light-H-Art

Description: Light serves several critical functions on the Jameson Bow Street renovation project: it illuminates an historic whiskey distillery building, tells the story of the brand, highlights the brand’s signature bottle AND leads guests on an unforgettable tasting tour through the iconic Jameson Distillery Bow Street. Warm track lighting, vibrant projections, color changing accents, and miniature spotlights were employed throughout. Guests begin the tour with the brand’s timeline displayed on the building’s historic brick walls, are educated on Jameson’s unique distilling process, and conclude the tour in the tasting room. A table in the tasting room glows with illuminated letters, spelling words that describe the whiskey, like smooth and nutty. The famous bottle sits in a place of honor, uplit at the center of the table with the brand’s crest glowing overhead.

Description: Universal’s Volcano Bay immerses guests in a vibrant blend of Polynesian cultures. Throughout the water park, lighting renders an environment that is warm, playful, and – above all – safe. At the center of the park, a large volcano’s majestic waterfall periodically erupts in angry bursts of lava, then transforms back to cool, calm, watery blues.
