Scope of Work: Architectural Lighting Design
Our client, Gensler, asked us to collaborate on a law office in the Los Angeles area, with three floors and a moderate budget, but goals of reaching LEED Gold status for energy consumption, controls and use of local materials. Visual Terrain was asked to create a clean, minimal, rectilinear patterning that would smoothly illuminate the space, link the two floors together and create surprise moments at the ends of hallways. Every opportunity was taken to create lines of light that begin in one area, and extend into others.
