At the 2025 31st Annual Thea Awards Gala at Universal City in Los Angeles, Visual Terrain was tickled, honored and proud to receive its 17th and 18th Thea Awards.
Visual Terrain was recognized as a contributor for Show Lighting & Programming on the team for the Chimelong Spaceship, at Chimelong Resort, Hengqin, Guangdong, China, which received a Thea for Outstanding Achievement.
Visual Terrain was also recognized as a contributor for Lighting Design on the team for the Priddy Family Foundation Freedom Theater at the National WWII Museum, New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, which also received a Thea for Outstanding Achievement.
What’s perhaps most thrilling is the TEA’s new policy to allow recognition of superlative individuals who contributed to project teams. Principal Lighting Designer Steven Young, Associate Principal Production Manager Steeve Vajk, and Senior Lighting Designer Lucius Lee all received individual recognition for their contributions to the Priddy Family Foundation Freedom Theater at the National WWII Museum. We are so proud of them, and grateful to have them on our team.
We would like to thank THG Creative, our client for the Freedom Theater project, and The Bezark Company, our client for Chimelong Spaceship. We always love working with your teams!
